Nonprofit Organizations in the Wichita Falls area are facing a serious challenge in the recruitment and retention of volunteers equipped to serve at the board level. On Board Wichita Falls is an 8 session program to train and equip candidates who have an interest in serving on a Board of Directors OR are currently serving on a Board of Directors for a nonprofit organization. Upon completion the graduate will be matched with a local nonprofit organization that fits their personal passion and preference and serve on the Board of Directors.
Take advantage of the opportunity to come learn more about this program and how it can assist your nonprofit with educated board members OR how your business can get involved in the community and make a difference. Encourage volunteerism and provide a trained board member for a nonprofit organization.
